In 2024, Rincón Clubhouse La Chorrera – UNESCO had the honor of receiving the Audience Choice Award in the Public Service Announcement (PSA) video category for the RE@CH Media Festival, with the short film called Awareness: Small Actions Today, Big Changes Tomorrow.

Andrea Sullivan’s Movement and Photography Win RE@CH Festival Award
One of Andrea’s favorite memories is creating a RE@CH winning photograph in 2022. The photoshoot took place outside the New Orleans Main Library, where a huge mural covers the wall. The Assistant Coordinator snapped photo after photo while Andrea incorporated all the dance and tumbling moves that she knew. Later, Andrea learned how to edit the pictures using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. When she was encouraged to submit one of the photos to the festival, she never imagined it would not only be a finalist, but actually win in its respective category! Young Clubhouse Inventor Develops Triple Battery Life in Humanoid Robots
Luis Mateo Vega Michileno, an alumnus from the Uramba Maker Lab Clubhouse at the Centro de Conocimiento e Innovación Bahía de Buenaventura (Centre of Knowledge and Innovation in Buenaventura Bay) in Colombia, is a young engineer with a passion for robotics and energy systems. He has developed a working prototype of a motor capable of generating energy even while at rest—a breakthrough that could dramatically extend battery life in humanoid robots, as well as other advanced devices. This is not a futuristic concept. It is the beginning of a practical technology that may reshape how we understand energy autonomy in robotic systems.
