Did you know your Members can create Augmented (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) experiences in as little as a few minutes that showcase their creativity, tech skills, and youth voice without having to download complicated software? Learn how easy it is to create high-quality AR and VR experiences that are showcase-ready for most AR-ready mobile phones and VR headsets. But don’t be fooled by the ease of these tools, as they can also produce more complex and innovative AR/VR experiences for more advanced users. You can create stimulating AR/VR environments that showcase your creativity and self-expression. 4. Understanding and Developing Growth Mindset
Presented by Jennifer Bourgoin, Mentor Program Manager, The Clubhouse Network, Roxbury, MA, USA
How much do you agree with the following statement: “You can learn new things, but you can’t really change your basic intelligence”? Your response helps reveal if you have a growth mindset – a mindset that intelligence is changeable, and individuals can improve at anything with the right mix of strategies. Having a growth mindset is linked to a host of positive youth outcomes, including improved perseverance, resilience, and success in school. To learn more about growth mindset and how to support members in developing a growth mindset, complete the self-paced Growth Mindset for Mentors online training. The training explores what growth mindset is, how mentoring program staff and mentors can foster growth mindset, and tangible strategies and tools to support members.
